Occupy Edmonton is concerned about how corporate interests are infecting our political institutions, dictating public policy and decimating the environment. We are also concerned about a system that puts the hunger for profits above the health and well being of all our communities.

More than two months have passed since Occupy Edmonton’s eviction from its downtown camp, but the movement has re-surfaced at the University of Alberta campus.

The latest occupation protests rising tuition, student debt and what the camp is calling, “corporatization of education”.
How do students fit into the 99 per cent? How long will they pursue their latest protest? Are people still listening to the Occupy message?

We talk to Anna McRobbie, representing Occupy Edmonton.
