Salaam occupiers. As far as music is concerned. This isn't about a show so the thought process is to fill in space when morale or interest seems depleted. Of course, I like to think every revolution deserves a soundtrack but we don't want to make it into an entertainment venue.

There are messages out to artists of interest(some have already played in Churchill square) and most of the gear/equipment has been accounted for. Whether we are stopping anywhere but Churchill for an extended period of time could possibly affect set-up and if this becomes a camp out we could be moving the set-up. There isn't any planned stage or anything grandiose.

Please message me at hivemusic@live.ca with any inquiries, suggestions or topics of discussion you feel need to be brought to my attention.

PA is ready though we still need a van or pickup for transport Saturday, Franz. I have also contacted a few folk about playing and I feel we should hook up and find out what info we have. Give me a call.

Hey guys,

I'm just getting in from the studio a little late. I'll call you in the morning Bill and try to set something up. I believe I have your contact info in my agenda. I have a couple artists who are interested, I have to go over there content before I try and set anything up.

I've sent a message out to Politic I'm hoping to get a reply. Creeazn is booked this Saturday and next. The byproduct of him talking to the 2 biggest DJ comps in the city this year. He did say that if the movement progresses to a camp out that he'll spin on another day this week.

Have you reached out to I.D? and is that folk artist you had spoke of willing and able?

Just got off the phone with Bill Carley. We have touched base with a bunch of artists whom are interested and they represent a few different genres. They are less-than-abrasive so it should be ok with the kids. Bill is definitely on sound and has a PA worked out. Between the two of us and a few others we should have all gear accounted for. We are still working on the idea of transportation.

Tonight's meeting will hopefully result in a decision being made as to whether or not this will be a general assembly. If it is we are going to have to have a couple mics out to the crowd. There is no way this will work in Churchill without that.

If we can't come to decisions it will have to be a general assembly just to make decisions. Will give us something to do while we occupy after the march.

Quick update on the night. Sound system has been worked out and some parts of the transportation are starting to get covered. Any help with transportation would be greatly appreciated.

We will be playing this by ear. We want ego-less artists who are down to occupy whether or not they preform and we have a few. We could go ahead on Saturday right now if needed, in fact we will most likely run with what we have. But I still want to maybe find some tribal drummers / circle dancers and breakers.
