Unfortunately, Marlon from politic live will not be able to MC or Preform. He will be showing up but he is attending solidarity week at the UofA. Which is a pretty big event in itself and is sure to cut into the numbers of activists that will be showing. Marlon and all the people from Rouge, the Souljah Fyre crew and Creeasian`s H.N.L. crew are all involved with solidarity week and won`t be available the day of. We have Paula Kirman and the drum circle. We will probably have another folk singer involved. Later on we may have a hip hop act / some break dancers and maybe even a band.

If we have drums I can always just jam out. Hand drums or Kit.

Oh and there are some Aboriginal Circle Drummers/Dancers that are interested as well. I just have to coordinate the logistics of it with other facilitators.

Another quick update. Adrian LaChance will be coming down to do a performance later on in the evening. As we already have soo much going on I thought it fit to narrow in on the idea of having an aboriginal arts representative.

update: Due to the time constraints, I've told all my acts except for LaChance and the Break Dancers (there will be a couple punkers and emcee's there regardless if we need 'em) that there is a solid chance that they won't be preforming. Boogie Patrol, whom are a really good fit for this and some other afro-cuban acts will be working on a fundraiser with me if this does turn into a long term camp-out.
